Ready, set... go!

Lockdown has influenced so many aspects of our lives, it's hard to remember the simple days, without hand sanitizer and face masks. Now this is our new normal. My husband, kids and I were preparing ourselves for the Big move overseas just before Lockdown in April of this year, just to spend an unplanned 10 months here is SA.

More time for goodbyes

The upside to this was that we were able to spend more time saying our goodbyes, to friends and family. Never a nice thing, but we feel grateful to have had this bit of extra time.

We were very happy when the President announced on Wednesday eve the 16th of October that international travel will be allowed from Oct 1st 2020, so we're holding thumbs for flights from SA to Sydney so we can start our new life.
