My journey 'in between' opportunities

It's a wet Monday here in Sydney and I am catching up on admin.
Sitting here, I reflect on what was my end of year 2025, and now, 9 March 2026. Time has flown by at a rapid rate and I've come to understand so much when it comes to job hunting in the age of ai. Let me share some pointers I wish I had known.
Don't waste your time applying for work on your own. Rather connect with recruiters in your industry, so they can do the heavy lifting. They have a better understanding of what they're clients need. And can get you infront of them.
Because workplaces now use ai to work through resumes, if you don't key words they use in the job advertisement and you don't align almost 100%, chances are you won't make it past they're inbox.
Network, network, network... in most cases, it's still who you know.
Listed below are some interesting links I found, take a look they might help you.
Happy job hunting!
